Kim Yeon-kyung, who joined the national team as an advisor to the national team rather than a player, showed pride in the Taegeuk mark.
The women’s volleyball team started open training on the 16th at the Jincheon National Athlete’s Village in Chungcheongbuk-do.
Kim Yeon-kyung, who announced her retirement after the 2022 Tokyo Olympics, was also present in the training that day. She put down the Taegeuk mark after the Olympics, but Kim Yeon-kyung was appointed as an advisor, and she serves as an advisor and support for the overall national volleyball team, such as mentoring national players and supporting work for coaches and support personnel.
She will also partly participate in the training and dispatch schedule of the women’s volleyball national team with the help of her team, Heungkuk Life Insurance.
