Major League Baseball’s Ha-Sung Kim had three multi-hit games and drove in 50 runs for the second straight year – and even his specially customized helmet couldn’t keep up with him. By Soo-Joo Park…

In the first inning, Kim Ha-sung reached first base with a single.

He slides to second on the next batter’s surprise bunt, and as soon as he realizes the ball is out, he takes off his crooked helmet and runs to third base with his hair whipping around.

With a cool grin on his face at third base, Kim scored on the ensuing sacrifice fly to take the lead.

After drawing a walk in the fourth inning, Kim Ha-sung turned an infield grounder into an RBI single in the sixth, his third of the day.

Trailing 4-3 in the eighth, he added another run with a sacrifice fly.

It was his 50th RBI of the season, marking the second straight year he’s reached the 50-RBI plateau after having 59 last year.

Kim went 2-for-3 with a double, one walk, one RBI, and one run scored, but the team came up short.

San Diego gave up a two-run homer to Contreras in the bottom of the eighth inning to send the game to extra innings, and then gave up a game-tying hit to Korean-American Tommy Hyun-Soo Edmon in the bottom of the 10th, ultimately falling 5-6.

San Diego is now 11-for-11 in extra innings this season and has a 0.00 percent winning percentage in extra innings.

With 62 wins and 71 losses to date, San Diego’s postseason prospects are not bright.메이저놀이터

With Atlanta, the Los Angeles Dodgers, and Milwaukee atop their respective divisions, San Diego is tied for seventh place in the 12-team wild card race.

The wild card is awarded to the third-place finisher.
