Lotte Giants ‘express prospect’ Kim Min-seok blasted his second home run of the season after making his debut.

Kim Min-seok started in center field and batted ninth in the eighth game of the 2023 Shinhan Bank SOL KBO League against the Hanwha Eagles at Sajik Stadium in Busan on May 15, and hit a home run in his second at-bat.안전놀이터

Min-seok, who hit his first career home run against the Hanwha Eagles on May 18, coincidentally arched over the fence again against Hanwha. Trailing 0-3 in the bottom of the sixth inning with one out, Kim lined a 144-kilometer fastball from Hanwha starter Felix Peña out of the strike zone and toward his body.

The pitch traveled at 159 kilometers per hour and stretched out in a large parabola toward the right-field fence, just barely clearing the fence for a two-run home run. It was his second home run of the season and the second of his career with a distance of 100 meters.

After being held in check by Peña and unable to do much about it, Lotte responded with a home run from Kim Min-seok to pull within one run of Hanwha.
