Shohei Ohtani (29-LA Angels) has homered in back-to-back games again. He has eight home runs in his last 10 games.

Ohtani went 1-for-4 with a home run, one run scored, and two RBIs while starting in the No. 2 spot in the lineup against the Kansas City Royals at Kauffman Stadium in Kansas City, Kansas, USA, on April 19.

Ohtani’s lone hit of the day was a game-winning home run.

Trailing 1-2 and batting with two outs in the top of the fifth inning, Ohtani worked a full count against starter Zack Greinke and lifted a six-pitch, 69.7 mph (112.2 km/h) slow curveball over the right-center field fence for a two-run homer. It traveled 422 feet (129 meters).안전놀이터

It was Ohtani’s 24th homer of the season, following a two-run shot the day before against Kansas City, and gave him a commanding lead in the majors. He extended his lead over second-place Pete Alonso (New York Mets-22 homers) to two.

Ohtani has especially exploded for nine home runs in June. He has continued his incredible home run pace, hitting eight homers in his last 10 games dating back to today’s game against the Seattle Mariners. It’s the third time he’s arched two in a row during that stretch.

After the Angels took the lead on Ohtani’s homer, Mike Trout followed with a back-to-back homer in the next at-bat. It was Trout’s 15th homer of the season.

Jared Walsh added a solo home run in the top of the ninth to give the Angels a 5-2 victory.

The Angels avenged the previous day’s loss and improved to 41-33 on the season.

Kansas City, which had its 10-game losing streak snapped the day before, fell to 19-52 on the season.
