All five KBO games scheduled to take place on Monday have been canceled. The KBO announced the remaining games on Oct. 10, with the final game on Oct. 11, but a series of rainouts after the announcement pushed back the final game of the regular season by a day.

Doosan-LG (Jamsil), Samsung-KT (Suwon), Kiwoom-SSG (Incheon), Lotte-Hanwha (Daejeon), and NC-KIA (Gwangju) were all rained out due to rain across the country as a result of the typhoon on Sept. 29.

The Samsung-KT game was rescheduled for Sept. 19, while the other four games will be rescheduled for Oct. 10 or later.

It rained heavily at Jamsil Stadium until noon, then eased off and on in the afternoon. Puddles of water formed on the outfield walking track due to the rain from the previous day. At 4 p.m., the rain became heavier again, and Han Yong-duk waited until 5 p.m. to make the decision to cancel the game.

It was the 15th rainout for Doosan and the 15th for LG.

LG announced Lee Jung-yong as its starting pitcher for the 30th, while Doosan kept Brandon from the 29th. Lotte will start Barnes and Hanwha will start Lee Tae-yang on the 30th with no changes.

Incheon switched Kiwoom to McKinney and SSG to McCarty. In Gwangju, NC announced Shin Min-hyuk and KIA announced Panoni as their starters. In Suwon, Samsung switched to Choi Chae-heung and KT to Ko Young-pyo.

KIA’s Kim Gun-guk, KT’s Kim Min-soo, Kiwoom’s Jang Jae-young, and SSG’s Oh Won-seok, who were predicted to be the fifth or tentative starters for the 29th game, did not get the chance to start.

The KBO has scheduled 116 games through Tuesday, Oct. 10, including 50 games that will need to be rescheduled due to the elimination of the two-game series and the three-game format from this season, and 66 games that will need to be rescheduled, including rainouts. There are also Monday games and doubleheaders scheduled.메이저놀이터

The KBO said, “If a game is canceled due to rain from today (Sept. 29) to Thursday, Sept. 7, it will be scheduled as a makeup date for the previously announced schedule. If there is no reserve day, games in the same bracket after Tuesday, September 12, will be scheduled as doubleheaders on the second day of the same bracket, and games in the same bracket after Tuesday, September 12, will be scheduled at a later date.”
