This October, the LPGA Tour BMW Ladies Championship will be held at Seowon Valley CC.
The LPGA Tour BMW Ladies Championship (total prize money of 2.2 million dollars) scheduled for October will be held at the Seowon Valley Country Club in Paju, Gyeonggi-do.
BMW Korea announced on the 28th, “We signed a business agreement with Seowon Valley CC at the BMW Korea headquarters in Jung-gu on the 27th and decided to hold the LPGA Tour BMW Ladies Championship at Seowon Valley CC this year.”
Founded in 2019, the competition was held in Busan (International Busan) in 2019 and 2021, and last year it was held in Wonju, Gangwon-do (Oak Valley Country Club).
“We are delighted to announce that Seowon Hills, located in Daebo Group’s Seowon Valley Country Club, has been selected as the venue for the 2023 BMW Ladies Championship,” said Sean Byun Asia CEO, LPGA. We look forward to showcasing the best players in the world in a new place.”
Han Sang-yoon, CEO of BMW Korea, said, “The BMW Ladies Championship has been touring luxury courses in each region since 2022 to promote the beauty of Korea to the world. We will raise the highest level of sustainability,” he said.

A total of 78 players, including 68 LPGA tour players, 8 invited players, and 2 amateurs recommended by the Korea Golf Association, will participate in this year’s tournament, which will open on October 19th.
