Tuta ‘No. 1 in major categories’→No. 24 Archie→Otani free agent price soars even higher
Shohei Ohtani continues his cartoonish performance. He has eight home runs in his last 10 games.
Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim’s Shohei Ohtani went 1-for-4 with one home run, one run scored, and two RBIs while starting as the No. 2 designated hitter against the Kansas City Royals at Kauffman Stadium in Kansas City, Kansas, on April 19 (KST).토토사이트
After walking Kansas City starter Zack Greinke in his first at-bat in the first inning, Ohtani struck out swinging in the second.
Then, in his third at-bat, he delivered the decisive blow. With the Angels trailing 1-2 in the top of the fifth, Ohtani battled Greinke for a full count before driving a six-pitch, 69.7-mph (112-kilometer) curveball over the right-center field fence for a two-run homer. It traveled 422 feet (about 129 meters).

It was Ohtani’s 24th home run of the season, his first in back-to-back games since the previous day against Kansas City, and it gave him a commanding lead in the majors.
He moved to within two home runs of second-place Pete Alonso (New York Mets-22).
Following Ohtani’s two-run shot, Mike Trout hit a back-to-back home run to give the Angels a 4-2 lead.
In his final at-bat in the seventh, Ohtani struck out swinging.
Ohtani’s batting average remained at .300 for the season.

Along with his batting average, Ohtani leads the team in the major offensive categories with 24 home runs, 83 RBIs, 49 runs scored, 58 runs batted in, 10 doubles, and a 1.016 OPS.
He’s also tops in the pitching department with a 3.29 ERA in 82 innings pitched, 105 strikeouts, a 1.05 WHIP, and a .178 batting average.
That’s some MVP pace. He’s also making his price tag even higher as he approaches free agency.
Meanwhile, the Angels beat Kansas City 5-2. They avenged a loss the day before. They are now 41-33 on the season.
