It was a wild night.

Manchester City defeated Inter Milan 1-0 at the Atatürk Olympic Stadium in Istanbul, Turkey, at 4 a.m. ET on Nov. 11 in the first leg of the UEFA Champions League (UCL) single-leg final of the 2022-2023 season.

Rodriguez broke the deadlock for Inter Milan in the 23rd minute with an inside shot from near the center of the box after a ball in from the right.

City held on for the win, defending Rodriguez’s goal despite numerous threats.

With the win, City completed a treble. In addition to winning the English Premier League (EPL) this season, City also defeated Manchester United in the English Football Association (FA) Cup final. They also won the Champions League trophy.

City became the first English club to win the treble since United under Alex Ferguson in the 1998-1999 season.메이저놀이터

Pep Guardiola had previously won the Champions League with Barcelona (Spain), but hadn’t reached the top of Europe until this game with Bayern Munich and City. He has been in charge of City since 2016. Guardiola is the second manager to win the treble, following his time at Barcelona in the 2008-2009 season.

British outlet The Sun reported on the players’ after-party on Wednesday, saying that “(City’s) Grealish, who played full-time against Inter Milan, headed to a nightclub with teammates, friends and some family members to continue the celebration.”

He even uploaded a video to his social media accounts of himself and his friends dancing at the club. One of the last players to leave was fellow “monster striker” Holland.

“Holland was one of the last people to be seen with him, smoking a cigar,” The Sun reported.

The media described him as a “party animal.

Goalkeeper Ederson, who made some spectacular saves in the final, also enjoyed an extended celebration. “He left the team hotel the next day, still holding a beer in his hand,” said The Sun.

Meanwhile, Grealish spoke to BT Sport shortly after the match and was overwhelmed with emotion. “To win a treble with this team is really special, it’s amazing,” he said, adding, “Everyone who knows me knows how much I love football. “Everyone who knows me knows how much I love it, and this is what I’ve been working towards all my life.

“It’s very emotional to see my family in the stands,” he said, adding, “I also said ‘thank you’ to Guardiola. He gave me a lot of trust. He’s a genius.”
